Dr. Irmi Gürtner earned her bachelor`s degree and her M.D.at Frankfurt Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, (Magna Cum Laude in Dupuytrens contracture and pathology, 1989). Following was a residency in trauma surgery, Frankfurt (1990-1992), a general surgery residency at Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich. (1993-2000) and board certified in general surgery by the "Bayerische Landesärztekammer” Munich, 1999.
Dr. Gürtner has done research and several publications on items of trauma and surgery.
She is a member of the german society of surgery (BDC) www.bdc, and of the german association of medicines.
